I donated $200 this weekend as well as 6 bags of bottles and cans. Our local SPCA accepts all sorts of returnables with a deposit on them. I save up all of my cans, beer bottles and bottles for them.
Seems that they always seem underfunded here, if city council needs to cut corners, the SPCA is always one of the first to feel the blade.
Who do we have here that are kept by pets? (They own you, not the other way around!)

That's cool that they do that with the bottles/cans.

Answer to your question, I have a ten year old cat, that
I got by intercepting his being delivered to the SPCA about
three years ago.
Past critters have been a couple of dogs, 5 cats (not counting one litter),
some horses and a budgie that tasted like chicken. ;-)

Signed,

the support staff.

I've got two. The older, wiser one is Freddie and the younger, stupid one is Chester.
In 1887, Iolani Palace was wired with electricity and telephone service-before Buckingham Palace and the White House.
