I've been monitoring this to see how the stocks are going - people are flipping them on eBay and Craigslist. I am tempted to pick one up to use for web surfing and to allow the kids to watch some videos, etc. Oddly enough, I'm not looking for a bunch of apps and I have no interest in paying $500 for an iPad.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I don't think you could go wrong on any tablet or touchpad from HP. . So many brands out there now like the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer (TF101-A1) Tablet NVIDIA Tegra 2 10.1" Wide SVGA 1GB DDR2 Memory 16GB Flash HDD NVIDIA ULP GeForce for about $399 at Newegg.

Newegg

I've been looking at the HP models (I forget which HP it is) at the local OfficeMax. Officemax is currently offering so many choices lately. I have an OfficeMax Perks card and they email me about saales in advance at great savings. Happy Hunting!

Apparently the stocks are long gone, off into the hands of users and those who want to flip them on ebay or craigslist. All I want is one, people! HP has said they're going to make a few more, but news on that will be a few more weeks.
